We’re proud of Manchester’s rich, multicultural scene and host weddings of all faiths. You’re free to chose your own minister, service, catering, mis-en-scene and/or entertainment and we’ll provide you with the perfect setting.
Flexible Spaces
Accommodating up to 450 guests for a seated dinner, or 600 for a ceremony, the Great Nave creates a spectacular setting for those treasured photographs, with its private enclosed garden, cloisters and flexible friary room spaces for smaller ceremonies.

Exclusive Full-day Weddings
The Monastery can provide exclusive venue hire for a full day of joyous, private celebrations. Availability is limited and only on Fridays and Saturdays, so please be sure to enquire well in advance of the big day. We’ll provide you with clear and transparent pricing on request so that you can plan the cost of your wedding easily. Quotes are free and without obligation.

Twilight Weddings
If you’re wondering where (or when) to get married in Manchester, then The Monastery can offer you the perfect setting. An unspeakably romantic, twilight ceremony is a very popular choice and is available Sunday to Thursday, subject to availability. Moreover, this extraordinary wedding venue offers the flexibility – from intimate ceremonies to lavish affairs – to accommodate all of your nearest and dearest under one, perfect roof.
