Event Details
Join us to welcome the return of the light, as together, we celebrate the longest night and the shortest day of the year, at a very special, day-long winter solstice 2024 gathering, with festive drinks, mince pies and a light lunch included.
Planetary alignment
Just like Stonehenge, the Great Nave’s centre line is aligned with the galactic central sun and the Pleiades each winter solstice, creating a powerful energy point.
This year’s sacred gathering with sound, ritual, and prayer – facilitated by: Carl Whitwell (Intentions of Healing) Alison Knox (Everyday Angels) and Christine Cole (Virtues Mediation) Rev Fay Barratt (One Spirit Service), Vicki & Chris Kennedy (Gorton Pagan Moot) and Christian Platts (sound healing) – will be dedicated to bringing our collective contribution of love and divine light into the world.
Spiritual family gathering
This is a private event and the Monastery is opening exclusively for the occasion. It’s an opportunity for our spiritual family to gather together privately, to share gratitude for what is, as well as loving intentions for the future. We’re gleefully planning a wonderful day of solstice celebrations and experiences with something for everyone, to mark our end of year spiritual gathering.
Think a blissful day of: sound healing, meditations, inspirational stories, readings, sacred music and angelic experiences.
What can I expect?
A beautiful gathering of good-hearted people enjoying food, drinks and gratitude for nature’s countless gifts, as together, we raise the vibration, offering prayers and sharing yuletide celebrations, before finishing off with a light lunch together.
When?
10.30am-3pm, 20th December, 2024.
Who can come?
This event is open to everyone, all faiths & none, all ages, colours, creeds & genders.
Do need to bring anything to the winter solstice celebration?
Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring a blanket and pillow for the meditations. For those who like to journal, please feel free to bering a note book and pen.
