Workshop in Meditation, Mysticism & Wisdom
Sunday, 29th September 2024, 1 – 3pm
Join Gill Harbach for this fascinating workshop exploring meditation, mysticism and wisdom.
About this event
Both St Francis and St Clare were mystics. What does that mean?
It means that they both heard & experienced the voice of the Divine working through them. They guided themselves through life by listening and recognising their inner voice or intuition. They surrendered and “ Let Go & Let God”.
This way of being has now become distanced from us in this busy world and we can feel lost without guidance that is personal and specific to us. Francis was led by an inner voice, which he first heard in front of the crucifix of the church of San Damiano in Assisi. He followed the guidance and this revealed a personal path to him, which as a child he would never have dreamed could have been possible. It transformed his life and hence our world going forwards.
How will I benefit from this workshop?
Learn about the true story of St Francis and St Clare and find out the relevance of their story to our own lives. How we too can listen to our inner wisdom and steer our own path through life. The workshop will include some practices to enable you to be more aware of yourself in this world, and open you up to being aware of the inner voice we each possess.
Do I need any prior experience?
No experience is needed for this workshop.
