Event Details
This day-long workshop invites participants to explore the profound spiritual insights found in the linguistic roots of the Lord’s Prayer in its original Aramaic.
About this event
Through guided discussions, chanting, and contemplation, we will delve into each line of the Lord’s Prayer, exploring how revisiting the familiar words from the King James Version with a new perspective can reveal a path to a fuller, more conscious way of being in the world. Our exploration will be enriched by multidimensional reinterpretations of the prayer in Aramaic, drawing on the insights of Neil Douglas-Klotz, Lars Muhl, and Dale Allen Hoffman.
This workshop offers an opportunity to embody the prayer’s wisdom in our daily lives, inviting us to consciously participate in the ongoing act of creation.
When?
10am to 4pm, Sunday 24th November, 2024.
