Event Details

Looking for a friendly sewing and craft group in Manchester?

Whether you’re stitching your first seam, finishing a long-forgotten knitting project, learning to crochet, or simply looking for good company while you create, The Sewcial Group offers a warm and welcoming space where people of all ages and abilities can come together.

This isn’t a formal class and there’s no pressure to be an expert. Instead, it’s a relaxed monthly meet-up where people bring along their own projects, share ideas, swap skills and enjoy the simple pleasure of making things together.

Bring your sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery or any other portable craft project, settle in with a cup of tea and enjoy a couple of creative hours in the peaceful surroundings of the Monastery.

Whether you come to learn something new, finish a project you’ve been meaning to complete, or simply spend time with like-minded people away from the busyness of everyday life, you’ll always find a friendly welcome.
