Event Details
Join us from 11am on December 22nd, 2024 for The Christmas Story & Donkey Day community event, a celebration for all the family – come and enjoy the festive fun, refreshments, music and activities, wear your favourite Christmas jumper or outfit, sing carols and meet real donkeys!
Festive refreshments will be on sale all day in the Welcome Café, featuring Carl’s lovely new winter menu with brews, brekkies, butties, bowls and cakes galore.
Carol singing with the choir will begin at 1pm and the wonderful Christmas Story, led this year by Rev Fay Barrett (and the donkeys of course!) will start at 2pm.

Entry is free (we’re always grateful for donations to the Monastery Charitable Trust on the day).
No need to book and all are welcome, just turn up and bring your tribe!
Donkey rides
Donkey rides will be available all day and cost £4 each.
You’ll need to book in advance for donkey rides, with various time slots available.
