Feast Day of Hildegard of Bingen

10.30am-3.30pm, Sunday, September 17th, 2023

Rev. Fay Barratt and & friends warmly invite you to join them for a day of beauty, music, story, art and grace to honour Hildegard of Bingen, visionary mystic, abbess, poet, artist, theologian, pharmacist and composer of the most sublime music.

We begin with a free talk at 10.30am, followed by Rev. Fay’s Creating Sacred Art class, inspired by Hildegard’s work. Or you may want to study her music until the silence.

In the afternoon we have our One Spirit service with music readings and inspiration.  The day will be led by Interfaith Minister Fay Barratt, musician John Hofton and Unitarian Minister Laura Dobson.

The Sacred Art Workshop is on a sliding scale, £10, £20 or £30.

The other events are free but donations very much appreciated.

You may wish, as many of us do, to start the day with brunch in the Monastery’s Welcome Café, open 10am-4pm.

Free entry.

Free parking.
