Manchester Histories Festival: Celebration Day
Sunday 12th June, 11am-4pm
FREE Entry!
We are SO proud to be hosting this year’s FREE Manchester Histories Festival Celebration day on June 12th, 11am-4pm at our spectacular, Grade II listed building. Join us in celebrating the city region’s rich history and heritage with over 50 stalls from museums, archives & projects from across Greater Manchester.
As well as the stall holders – a who’s who of local cultural organisations – there will be plenty more to do, with something for everyone.
Fun for all with creative workshops, musical performances, a real vintage bus, ice-cream van, and a pop up museum courtesy of Manchester Museum!
Ride your bike to the celebration day and get it serviced for free by the Nationwide Cycling Academy. Bring your own pre-loved clothing and donate it in our clothes swap and pick yourself up a new outfit. Enjoy performances from the Gorton Voice Choir and Youth Zone Voices Group with Manchester Camerata.
Behold the magnificent line up!
🎶 Youth Zone Voices Group – Young people will work alongside a composer and instrumentalists from @manchestercamerata to co-produce a brand-new song through a series of workshops
