About Passion for Gorton

Join Rejoice with Voice to celebrate Easter with a glorious, community performance of Passion for Gorton; one of history’s most profound stories presented through the spectacle of a Passion Play, here at the Monastery.

Families, groups of friends and individuals are welcome to experience live music, acting and storytelling inside the magnificent Great Nave.

Wander amongst individual artisan art and craft stalls and taste homemade snacks in an experience that celebrates unity, creativity, and shared humanity.

Participants Wanted!

Would you like to take part? Well, the organisers, Rejoice with Voice, are looking for participants!

Whether you’re drawn to the stage, the music, the script, or the vital work behind the scenes, there is a place for you! We’re recruiting volunteers to join in as an actor, writer, singer, musician, dancer, set builder.

This is open to everyone. No previous experience is required.
