A Special Evening to Celebrate 30 Years of The Monastery

Thursday 14th May, 2026 | 7pm – 11pm | The Monastery Manchester

Join us for a joyful and memorable evening as we celebrate 30 years of The Monastery Trust, marking three decades of restoration, community, music and shared purpose.

Held in the magnificent surroundings of the Great Nave, this anniversary celebration brings together music, dancing, food and friendship in the very heart of the building that so many have helped to bring back to life.

Whether you have been part of the Monastery’s journey from the beginning, or discovered it more recently, we warmly invite you to come together and share this special milestone.

Music, Dancing, Supper and Celebration

This celebratory evening will feature live music, dancing, a licensed bar and a traditional hot pot supper, creating a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere beneath the soaring arches of the Great Nave.

As candlelight fills the space and music resonates through the building, guests will have the opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate everything the Monastery has become since 1996, and everything still to come.

This is more than a party. It is a celebration of community, resilience and the shared care that has made the Monastery what it is today.

Join us for our sparkling, 30th birthday party – dress to impress or simply come as you are!

Honouring 30 Years of Transformation

Over the past three decades, The Monastery Trust has transformed this extraordinary Grade II* listed building into a thriving centre for heritage, wellbeing, music and community.

This anniversary marks not only how far the Monastery has come, but the continuation of its mission to remain a place of welcome, connection, peace and purpose for generations to come.

We hope you will join us to celebrate this remarkable journey.
