Event Details

Join us each Thursday at the Monastery for a soulful and gentle Synergy yoga session with teacher, Stef, recommended for beginners.

Stef will be right here at the Monastery every Thursday afternoon from 1 – 2pm, bringing his many years of acclaimed yoga teaching and with an individualised approach that can help any body experience healthier, happier joints and raised vitality.


What kind of yoga can I expect?

You will be guided through careful movements in the Synergy yoga philosophy which prioritise natural and healthy movement, energising and relaxing at the same time. These simple movements detangle nerves and improve circulation leading to increased sense of alertness, better sleep, less aches and pains and overall wellbeing.



Will I need any special clothes or equipment?

Mats are provided and you can bring your own if you like. Loose fitting or stretchy clothes are helpful but not essential. You don’t need to have any experience to join in with this class, it’s designed for all levels and everyone is welcome.


How will I benefit?

This form of yoga is particularly good for relieving anxiety, improving sleep and helping you cope better with daily stresses. It’s great for relieving tense muscles from under or activity, in the cases of sitting for long periods or even intense exercise, it’s a balanced and regulating form of movement. Regular yoga is proven to decrease stress whilst benefiting the mind, body and spirit, and the best thing about Synergy is that the benefits from the first session are obvious. When combined with the magnificent surroundings of the Monastery, this regular Thursday afternoon yoga session promises to be very special indeed.

You can either drop in to the session with cash or card directly Stefan.


Booking info

  • £75 for a block of 10 classes (taken over 6 months)
  • £60 for a block of 10 classes (taken over 3 months)
  • OR £10 per single class 
  • OR £5 per class concessions (unwaged or receiving state aid/pension or experiencing financial hardship)

To attend a single class, simply pay at reception (no booking fee).
