Join Gill Harbach for a fascinating tour of the Monastery, to find out the Hidden Secrets, but actually In Plain Sight, of this amazing building.

Go down the rabbit hole to discover all about sacred architecture, symbolism, mysticism, the real story of St Francis & St Clare, plus the Monastery’s connection with the Knights Templar.

The tour is all on the ground floor but it does involve a flight of three steps and is partly outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing.

The tour costs £12.00 (+ booking fee) and numbers are limited, so advance booking is essential.

This is a walking tour of The Monastery and takes around 90 minutes

Each tour has a capacity of 20

Tours normally take place on the last Sunday of the month at 10:15am*

Recommended for adults and children aged 12+

This event is fully accessible for wheelchairs and buggies

*Please note, the tour in January 2026, is on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
